We bought this product at the January 2017 Caravan show. The panel is neatly installed on the roof and hardly visible. The cabling and monitoring box is neat and we have no more worries about our battery going flat in storage. We were impressed that the panel charges up the battery on rainy cloudy days.
Their is easy access to the fitting area and we were offered hook up for the night if we needed it.

Saw this solar panel advertised in Caravan Mag and made some enquiries with Chris at Falcon. He was very professional and informative and offered to fit it while we were on our way to North Wales on holiday, including a free overnight stay (with electric hookup) the night before fitting.
The next day it was fitted beautifully with no sign of cables anywhere and a Smart Regulator tucked away in a corner of a wardrobe….very impressive, and we have found it super efficient being able to go caravaning absolutely anywhere without worrying about our battery loosing power.
Whilst there Chris told us about another of his great products, a 2kw Inverter that would give us 240volts wherever we were, so we had that fitted at the same time. Again another first class fitting and what a great product that we used the very next day en route.
Overall our impression of Chris and Falcon Technical and their products is 10 out of 10 and would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone. In fact we will most probably be going back for other products before we go winter touring in europe.

Just had the 100w solar panel fitted to the top of a VW pop top, along with the dual controller to charge the van battery, Chris and the team were great helped with finding a suitable way of hiding the cables and the best place for the controller, I was able to stay on site and work with the help of their wifi. We bought our panel at The Motorhome and Caravan Show at Birmingham in October. The gentleman salesman recommended that we buy the 100W panel and said that they would see if a 150W panel would fit our roof. Luckily it did so we paid the extra for the larger panel. We spent a night on their campsite, which they are in the process of building. The farm and campsite where very good, will look great when finished. The solar panel was fitted very professionally, the wiring and battery connection done very neatly. Would thoroughly recommend this company.

Finally….SOLAR!!
It’s taken 18 months since the start of Chasing Shadows to this point of the conversion from panel van to off grid camper-van. After much research and deliberation I finally settled on a company near to Warrington called Falcon Technology.
An email enquiry followed up by a quick phone call put me in touch with Chris from Falcon. I had seen a few videos of his presentations at various motorhome and camper-van roadshows and being a long established firm of 27yrs with a good review reputation my mind was made up and I made my reservation.
My knowledge from this kind of thing is pretty limited but enough to gage a basic calculation of what volume of wattage I needed. I follow a few sprinter pages on Instagram and they have as much solar as they can fit on their roofs, so as long as it didn’t spoilt the aesthetics of Chasing Shadows I could get away with two large panels down the spine of the roof. On measuring the roof it wasn’t quite long enough to seat 2 x 150w solar panels in-line so after consultation with Chris and his technician, it was decided that a 100w and a 150w would be a neat fit with little compromise on energy giving me approximately 170amp hours per day in the sunny summer months. As like most things I like to over engineer for complete peace of mind so this volume of amps per hour is more than enough for my requirements.
The set up at Falcon HQ is quite a remarkable plot comprising of technical assistance and fitting of various motorhome and camper-van essentials from solar panels, to satellite systems, to inverters, leisure batteries and reversing cameras, the list goes on…..
Also on-site is a campsite for approximately eight camper-vans or motorhomes all with electric hook-up. The facilities within the converted buildings compromise of immaculate showers and toilet areas, a bank of washing machines and dryer along with a rest area with tv whilst you wait for whatever business you are transacting. There are a number of holiday let’s on site all in-keeping with the other converted buildings on this well managed plot all enclosed behind electronic security gates for total peace of mind.
My panels are monocrystaline and manufactured by BOSCH which having done a lot of research seem to be market leaders for my budget and come with a lengthy warranty. I had plotted up early doors and as soon as the technicians arrived at around 08:30 I was guided into a well stocked warehouse to discuss my needs and expectations. I was offered a few technical upgrades and add-ons by Chris but at this time my needs were just for solar. But something to consider for the future. By lunchtime my panels were seated perfectly where we had discussed and all cables and displays were fitted with little or no evidence that they even existed. Very tidy cable work.
Early evening saw me drive my camper-van the few feet from the workshop to my reserved space on the hard standing campsite with a free overnight stay that accompanied my fitting. This stay was a requirement for the adhesive to go off completely and I bedded down for the evening with a warm drink and smooth radio on the BOSE. A very contented man in his van and now completely off-grid!!
Overall I can confidently say that from start to finish the service that I have received from Falcon, Chris and his staff has been exceptional. The product does what it says, the knowledge of the staff is good and the fitting is very neat and tidy. For anyone out there that has any apprehension about trusting your pride and joy to the many firms that fit these various luxuries, you won’t find a more professional set up than Falcon Technology.
For Chasing Shadows my leisure batteries are fully charged after a lovely sunny day and now there is no requirement to have to drive somewhere to allow the split charger to work.
Just let daylight and the sunshine do its job!!

We saw the advert in caravan and motorhome magazine for solar panels ,we wanted one fitting on the roof of our motor home,we Tel falcon and arranged to have it fitted February, the service was first class and very professional, the bonus was we stayed on there campsite which was emaculate, we also did a lovely walk,to the Riverside pub,had a lovely meal, then walked back along the canal, if we decide to have anything else ,we would have no hesitation going to falcon, thankyou the solar panel is great,

Back in 2018 we bought, a number of items that were fitted to our motorhome, and were really pleased with the service received. However, 18 months later we had problems with some of the kit. An appointment was made for us and the service we received from Dene, was exceptional. He patiently listened to our concerns and fully talked us through what he was doing and got us back on the road. His manner was pleasant and reassuring.

We used Falcon to fit a solar panel and an inverter into our motorhome. This was the first time we had used them and I suspect it won’t be the last.
We arrived the afternoon before the work was due to be done and had a very chilled out night on their lovely little site. Chris came over and talked through what equipment we had ordered and made a few suggestions on how we could improve things with a few additions. And yes, we took them but there was no pressure to do so.
The following morning Darren who did the fitting came over and we had a final discussion on siting of the equipment and he took the motorhome into the workshop.
We spent most of the day walking in the wonderful country side around the area with our dog.
Although the installation took slightly longer than expected it’s an excellent job. Everything was fitted as we had agreed and to a very high standard. Inside the motorhome unless you know which cupboards to look in you would not know any work had been done. No wires or ugly trucking and no mess good job.
On completion Darren did a full debrief on everything he had fitted and showed us how it worked and how to use it.
A very professional company with a great team. We would recommend them to anyone looking for this type of work.

Great place to advise, and fit needed new tech on our motorhome. Arrived monday,late afternoon, shown a spot on their motorhome campsite to settle after a long journey from south lincolnshire. Was told their technician would be round to us to discuss our requirements the next morning.
He dutifully showed up, and we agreed on what was needed, he ask us about other options too, but did not push when we said we were happy with just the items agreed. The lads in the workshop were both very polite and helpful, did the jobs as discussed, and explained in an easily understood manner, how to access items via my phone. Unable to pick one person from all, as they were equally charming and efficient. We even got a second night on their site, rather than driving home again in the rain and looming evening, no extra charge!
Oh, and they are all very doggy friendly!! Thank you all!!

They designed a system and sent an engineer out to our home and fitted on site. Everything was proffesional from the start to the completion. We had a problem with the engine battery going flat which when we spoke to another camper who had a motorhome explained about alarms and trackers draining the battery. We found the falcon range in GO outdoors and contacted them for advice and chose the 100 watt solar system with the dual regulator.
