Common Questions about Portable Split Air Conditioning

What size air conditioner does my caravan need?

It depends on the volume inside your caravan or motorhome, not its floor area. The RoamCool 5000BTU is suggested for interiors of 24 to 36m³. Insulation, direct sun, the outside temperature and ventilation all affect how well any unit cools.

Can I run caravan air conditioning on a campsite hook-up?

The RoamCool runs from a 220 to 240V mains supply with a rated input of 560W (2.5A). Check the electricity allowance on your pitch and allow for the other appliances you plan to use at the same time.

What is a split air conditioning system?

A split system has an indoor unit and an outdoor unit joined by a connecting assembly. Both units need suitable space, support and ventilation, so measure up and read the installation instructions before you order.

Can Falcon help me choose the right setup?

Yes. Email sales@falcontechnical.co.uk with your vehicle details, where you plan to fit the units and your power supply, and we will help you check it suits.

Just received my Falcon Mobile WiFi Router 4G Combo Deluxe and what a joy to behold, from unboxing the hard padded storage case containing all we need to get on line in our caravan, the ease of setting up was fantastic within 5 mins of plugging in the power cable I was on line. Can recommend this piece of kit.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I’ve just installed the magnetic wireless camera with 7” mirror monitor and used it on our first trip last week. It is absolutely brilliant piece of kit and having just changed upgraded to a larger car and can gave my hubby peace of mind. Easy to install and would recommend.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. As well as excellent products, Falcon’s customer service is second to none. They are very responsive and helpful. I use two products: the wireless reversing camera and the 5g mobile WiFi router. I am very, very happy with both. The products are of excellent build quality and you feel that Falcon really understands their market by including useful features and equipment. It’s a pleasure buying from them and using their products.
