This weekend we were at the UK Autumn Motorhome & Caravan Show in Newark, a little closer to home than some of our recent trips and it would have made a nice change to be back home by Sunday evening if Colette hadn’t had to fly straight back out to Germany to drive the caravan back from the Caravan Salon Düsseldorf show in Germany (see the next blog post for more on that one).
Newark is a smaller show than many of the ones we do but we know that many of our loyal customers look forward to seeing us there and we didn’t want to let them down even if it was a bit of a logistical nightmare for us, even involving international flights. We were indoors at this one so we left the big blue bus at home and just took our mobile stand this time which made for a quick setup and departure which was just as well given our tight schedule.
This coming weekend we will be at The Motorhome Show at Shepton Mallet in Somerset so we’ll be loading up and heading off there on Thursday morning and the following weekend is the South Coast Caravan and Motorhome Show in Romsey, then off to Lincoln the week after and finally to Birmingham for the season finale in October.
Here are a few pictures from Newark:
